  1. I’m glad you posted about these birds. I enjoyed seeing the others in their family; the Pampas Meadowlark is a beauty. Again today, we are hearing several Easterns and Westerns from all directions. I still smile at the fact I never saw Nebraska’s state bird until we moved to Iowa, but then as Mama says, you have to get out into the country to see them.
