Saying the natural variation in swallow’s wings is evolution, would be the same as saying that a blond living in sub-Saharan Africa is likely to die of skin cancer, and therefore only dark skinned people will evolve there. The fact is, natural selection allows for variation within species. Short or long winged, a swallow is a swallow, and light or dark skinned, a person is a person. They will never change into anything else. Not without direct genetic manipulation. . . .
