God is the ultimate artist! Do you every wonder why He would bother creating such beauty and variety instead of just making everything black and white and functional? I am awestruck by His limitless creativity! :)

And there’s more! — because our human eyes only see colors in one small part of the electromagnetic spectrum — yet radio waves, ultraviolet, infrared, x-rays, gamma rays, cosmic rays are all wavelengths that God can “see”, directly, but we cannot. Yet God has enabled some birds to see into the ultraviolet range, i.e., colors that our eyes (on this side of Heaven) can’t see, plus polarized light and magnetic fields! This present world is frequently accented with beauty, even though it is fallen. In other words, our world now is a “good-yet-groaning” world (Romans 8:19-23) — try to imagine how much more beauty awaits us, when our Lord Jesus Christ restores the world after His return! Maybe we will one day see colors we have never seen before.
